No. 7 Trinity Valley defeated No. 9 Snow 39-30 on Saturday, Sept. 13, at Robert E. Stoddard Field at Terry Foote Stadium, according to a Sept. 19 report by Brad James. The victory for the Cardinals spoiled the homecoming for the Badgers.
Jackson La Tour completed 23 of 40 passes for 303 yards in the win for Trinity Valley. Malick Djikalou recorded two catches for 108 yards and a touchdown, while KJ Madison and Dilon Tallie also caught touchdown passes for the Cardinals.
Dylan Story led Snow in the loss, completing 20 of 39 passes for 186 yards with three touchdowns and one interception. Jadyn Buckner contributed 122 rushing yards and a touchdown on 22 carries, along with two receiving touchdowns. Denver Fauntleroy also scored a touchdown on a 45-yard reception.
The 2-2 Badgers were scheduled to return to play on Saturday, Sept. 26, against Tyler (Texas) at 7:00 p.m. at Robert E. Stoddard Field at Terry Foote Stadium.
