Clinton Elementary released a newsletter detailing several upcoming school events and academic updates. The notice included information regarding parent-teacher conferences, school fundraisers, and student achievement metrics.
Parent-teacher conferences were scheduled for September 23 and 24. During these sessions, the school offered an early-out schedule for different tiers of students. On September 24, students were encouraged to dress as their favorite superhero.
The school is currently observing Neon Ribbon Week to recognize pedestrian safety. Activities include wearing neon colors on Monday, September 21, crazy socks on Tuesday, September 22, and hats or headbands on Wednesday, September 23. Additionally, a Safe Routes to School assembly was scheduled for September 25.
Clinton Elementary reported that chronic absenteeism has decreased by over 10% over the last three years. At the end of the 2025-2026 school year, the chronic absenteeism rate was 13%.
Several fundraisers and programs were noted, including a Zupas Spirit Fundraiser on September 29 and a school-wide Read-A-Thon in conjunction with the Statewide Read-A-Thon. Champion Martial Arts is also hosting a fundraiser through October 22.
The school also highlighted the DEEP magnet program for grades 2 through 6, with testing occurring in October, November, and December. Applications for the program are due January 31.
