In a report published September 19, the No. 14 Snow Badgers defeated No. 4 Salt Lake Community College 3-1 on Saturday at the Horne Activity Center in SWAC women's volleyball play. Marli Vaea recorded 11 kills during the victory for the Badgers.
Snow prevailed in the Saturday match with set scores of 18-25, 27-25, 25-23, and 28-26. Angelina Murase and Cameron Zajer each recorded 18 kills in the loss for the Salt Lake Community College Bruins.
In a separate match played Friday, the No. 4 Salt Lake Community College Bruins defeated No. 14 Snow 3-1. Cameron Zajer recorded 19 kills for the Bruins during the win, while Aleah McDaniel led the Badgers with 13 kills. The Bruins won the Friday match 23-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-22.
