Fillmore City has issued a request for proposals regarding architectural and engineering services for the Fillmore Library Expansion Project. The city is seeking bids to assist with the planned expansion of the library building.
Drawings of the proposed expansion are included in the project documentation to illustrate the city's requirements.
Proposals must be received by Fillmore City no later than 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 4, 2026. Submissions should be addressed to Fillmore City, Attention: Kevin Orton, at 75 West Center, Fillmore, Utah 84631.
Interested parties must submit six copies of the proposals in a sealed envelope. The front of the envelope must clearly display the project name and the name of the design-build team. Proposals are required to be submitted in a hard copy format and may not exceed 14 standard letter-size pages.
A formal bid opening will take place at this time.
The requested submittal elements include a cover page containing team members, a primary point of contact or project manager, and contact details including address, phone number, and email address. An executive summary letter and a description of qualifications are also required.
The qualification description must detail the architectural and engineering team structure, providing brief company profiles for both the firm and the primary designer/architect. Additionally, firms must provide summaries of similar projects completed within the past five years. Preference will be given to projects involving previous collaboration between the architect and primary designer, as well as architectural projects completed in Utah.
The submission must include a cost proposal for the proposed building based on the schematic design included in the contract documents. This proposal should follow the format provided in the cost proposal form and include a lump sum cost for the design.
