Eagle Mountain City’s Bag the Leaf program runs October 20 through December 18, helping residents dispose of leaves and protect water quality.

Bag the Leaf Program Returns October 20 Community October 5, 2026 Save Eagle Mountain City’s Stormwater Department is bringing back the Bag the Leaf program this fall to help residents properly dispose of leaves and keep them out of the stormwater system. The program will run October 20 through December 18, with dumpsters available at two locations: SilverLake Amphitheater  – 7896 Silverlake Parkway Pony Express Rodeo Grounds  – 4550 Lehi Fairfield Rd. Bags will be available for residents to pick up at City Hall, the Public Works building and the Building Department in the Ranches. Public Works Building – 2565 N. Pony Express Parkway City Hall – 1650 E. Stagecoach Run Building Department – 3726 East Campus Dr. Why Bag Your Leaves? The Bag the Leaf program is about more than keeping leaves off the streets. Leaves and other yard debris can wash into storm drains and waterways, contributing to stormwater pollution and affecting water quality. Removing leaves from streets and other areas before they are washed into the stormwater system can also help reduce clogged drainage infrastructure and the risk of street flooding during storms. By bagging and properly disposing of leaves, residents can help protect local water quality, support the City’s stormwater system and keep leaves from becoming a source of pollution. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the program throughout the fall season. Email Stormwater Department
