Ticket reservations for open house tours as part of the Salt Lake Temple Celebration are scheduled to open on Tuesday, Sept. 1, according to a report published August 29.
The celebration is scheduled to run for six months starting in April 2027 and will include tours of the renovated Salt Lake Temple.
The Salt Lake Temple Celebration is scheduled to run from April 5 through Oct. 1, 2027. According to an announcement from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the event will invite visitors to experience the renovated temple in person or through online virtual experiences.
In-person guests can participate in activities, performances, and exhibits throughout Temple Square. The ticketed open house tours include audio narration and a walking tour lasting approximately 60 minutes.
Tour times are scheduled Mondays through Saturdays from 8:40 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Sundays from noon to 8 p.m. While some tickets will be available for walk-up admission, having reservations is recommended to avoid waiting.
Reservations open at 11 a.m. MDT on Tuesday, Sept. 1, through TempleSquare.org and the Temple Square app. The Church stated that if guests cannot secure tickets for a preferred time, more tickets will become available through future releases.
