Responsibilities of the commission include the review of subdivisions, plat amendments, master planned developments, and conditional use permits.
Reviewing citywide plans and amendments
In addition to reviewing specific applications, the Planning Commission reviews and provides recommendations to the City Council regarding annexation petitions, Land Management Code amendments, and long-range plans.

Public meeting information and live listening options are available through the city's official resources. The commission holds its regular meetings at 5:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month.
