The Board of Millard County Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, to discuss a proposed zoning map amendment, according to an August 17 notice. The hearing will focus on an application to change the zoning designation of approximately 323.13 acres located near Holden.
The application, identified as Z-2026-048, requests a zone change from Agriculture 20 (AG-20) and Agriculture (AG) to Heavy Industrial (HI). The property is located at approximately 8900 N Whiskey Creek Road and is described as S1/2 SEC 15, T19S, R4W, SLM (APN: 5741).
The public hearing is scheduled for 10:10 a.m. at the Millard County Courthouse Commission Chambers, located at 50 South Main, Fillmore, Utah. Interested persons are invited to attend and provide public comment.
