Willowcreek Middle School and Belmont Elementary are hosting several academic and cultural programs for the 2026-2027 school year, including reading competitions and art initiatives designed to engage students and families within the Alpine School District.
Belmont Reading Competition
Belmont Elementary announced on Sept. 9, 2026, that the school will hold a Battle of the Books competition. This event is designed for students in grades 3 through 6. Interested participants can sign up for the challenge through the school's Givebacks website.

In addition to the reading challenges, Belmont Elementary is conducting the Reflections program titled "What My Culture Means to Me."
