Westside Elementary is inviting families to attend the upcoming Festival De Westside. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
The festivities will take place behind the school and are designed to bring the school community together for an evening of celebration and entertainment.
The festival will include several activities, such as music and dance performances in celebration of Cinco De Mayo. Attendees can also participate in chalk art, though the school noted that while small buckets of chalk will be provided, guests are encouraged to bring their own.
Food trucks will be available at the event, though they will be charging for items. The evening will also include a special farewell to honor Ms. Nielsen.
Westside Elementary recommends that attendees bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the evening. The event serves as an opportunity for students, families, and friends to gather as a school community.
