The town of Eureka has been placed on ready status as the Iron Fire continues to spread. Residents are being urged to prepare for evacuation in the event that wildfire conditions change quickly.
According to an update from Utah, shifting winds have begun pushing the wildfire toward Eureka.
The ready status serves as a notice for community members to remain alert and prepared to leave the area if necessary.
