The EnergySolutions Aquatic Center is now open to the public following its grand opening on June 1, 2026. The facility, which underwent a complete rebuild, serves as a new summer destination for Tooele County residents.
Recent soft opening details
Prior to the official grand opening, the center held a soft opening from May 23 through May 28, during which limited concessions were available while final touches were completed.
Pool features and amenities
The aquatic center offers several features for different types of swimmers. Visitors can utilize the dedicated lap pool, swim in the lazy river, or use the two twisting slides. For children, the facility includes splash features such as a star spray zone, a playful water tower, and tipping tumble buckets.
Diving boards and private events
For those interested in diving, the center provides both one-meter and three-meter diving boards. The facility also offers swimming lesson sessions and space for private reservations of up to 750 people.
Summer operating hours schedule
The 2026 summer hours of operation run from June 8 through August 13. The schedule includes open plunge times and lap swimming availability.
Sunday and weekday schedules
On Sundays, the center is open from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for two lanes of lap swimming and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for open plunge. From Monday through Friday, lap swimming is available from 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with open plunge sessions running from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday swimming availability
Saturday schedules include six lanes of lap swimming from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., eight lanes from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and open plunge from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Admission fees for the center include a daily rate of $5.00 and punch cards containing ten punches for $40.00. Swimming lessons consisting of eight sessions are priced at $45.00.
Private reservations are available at a rate of $400.00 per day Monday through Thursday and $500.00 per day on Friday and Saturday. The pavilion, which can hold up to 200 people, is available for $25.00 per hour plus the cost of pool admission for all guests.
