American Fork City's Water Department is working to repair a leak discovered in a pressurized irrigation transmission pipe serving the upper zone, according to a September 2 statement.
Crews have been evaluating the issue and performing necessary repairs since the leak was discovered last week.
The pressurized irrigation system in the upper zone will remain off until the damaged pipe is repaired and the system can be recharged. Completion is anticipated by Monday, September 7, though officials noted there is a potential for delay as the situation evolves.
Once the system is turned back on, it may take additional time for the system to fully recharge and for normal pressure to return.

City crews are working to safely complete these repairs and have requested patience from residents during the process.
