The applicant for the Vesper proposal has notified officials of their intent to stop the current application in order to submit an amended application. This change aims to address additional details concerning the project.
Because of the pending resubmission, the entire proposal will be required to return to the Planning Commission. While the specific details of the new application cannot be confirmed until it is submitted, it is understood that the applicant intends to address issues including parking requirements and the application of the Critical Hillside Overlay Zone.
No Vesper items will be discussed on Tuesday, September 8th. A date for when discussions regarding the project will resume has not been established.
The city will continue to review all aspects of the request, including economic impacts, transportation modes, and appropriate zoning. City officials stated they will continue to update residents as the proposal progresses to allow for community participation.
