The Vesper proposal will not be discussed during the upcoming city council meeting on Tuesday, September 8, as the applicant plans to submit an amended application. In a statement released September 2, officials noted the applicant intends to stop their current application to address additional project details.
The proposed resubmission will require the entire proposal to return to the Planning Commission. While the exact details of the new application are not yet known, officials understand the applicant intends to address issues including parking requirements and the application of the Critical Hillside Overlay Zone.
The city will continue to review all aspects of the request, including economic impacts, transportation modes, and appropriate zoning. There is currently no date for when discussions regarding the project will resume.
