The Water’s Calling: Tooele County Celebrates Grand Re-Opening of EnergySolutions Aquatic Center
TOOELE COUNTY, Utah — May 22, 2026
The wait is over, and the water is ready.
Tooele County Parks & Recreation is preparing to welcome the community to a new season of summer fun at one of its most highly anticipated recreation spaces: the rebuilt EnergySolutions Aquatic Center at The Peak Sports and Entertainment Complex.
Grand opening ceremony details
The grand opening will take place on Monday, June 1, beginning with a short re-opening ceremony at 12 pm. The program will include remarks from the Tooele County Parks & Recreation Director, the County Manager’s Office, and members of the Tooele County Council. The pool will officially open for business after the ceremony.
Purchasing admission passes
Community members are encouraged to arrive early to purchase passes before the gates open. Cashiers will be available at the ticket window beginning at 11 am on Monday, June 1.
Director's message on reopening
“This is an important day for Tooele County. Our community has waited patiently for the EnergySolutions Aquatic Center to reopen, and we are excited to welcome residents back to a facility that was built to serve people of all ages and abilities,” said Corey Bullock, Tooele County Parks & Recreation Director. “We look forward to seeing it become an active part of summer recreation in Tooele County,”
New facility features and amenities
The new EnergySolutions Aquatic Center features two pools: a leisure pool and a lap pool. The facility has been designed to serve a wide range of users, from families enjoying an afternoon in the water to lap swimmers, swim lesson participants, and community programs.
New and upgraded amenities include two slides, an upgraded diving well in the leisure pool, and upgraded concessions, creating a refreshed aquatic experience for guests of all ages
Community impact of the center
The opening of the EnergySolutions Aquatic Center marks more than the return of a pool. It brings back a summer hangout, a home for swim lessons, and a place where Tooele County families can cool off, play, train, and recreate with family and friends.
