In a report published August 27, it was announced that students from Rocky Peak Elementary, Kelsey Peak Middle School, and Kings Peak High School met for the Jordan Virtual Learning Academy Back-to-School BBQ.
Attending school online does not prevent students from having fun with classmates in person, according to the report.
The event took place at the Jordan Learning Center. During the night, students played games, met with teachers, chatted with friends, and took selfies with Rocky the Goat.
Principals David Hullinger, Spencer Campbell, and Ammon Wiemers worked the grill, while Kings Peak student body officers assisted by loading plates.
