WASHINGTON, D.C., Aug. 27, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Pres. Donald Trump on Thursday signed an executive order to change the name of Lake Ontario to Lake America. The executive order comes days after Trump floated the idea of a name change while speaking to reporters about failed tariff negotiations between the U.S.
