The Paragonah Town Planning Commission scheduled a meeting for 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, to address several community development and safety items, including updates to the town's transportation master plan and multijurisdictional hazard mitigation efforts.
Hazard Mitigation and Policy Updates
According to a meeting agenda released by Paragonah Town, the commission, led by Chair Nancy Dalton, will review several key administrative and policy matters. The session is scheduled to begin with a pledge and the adoption of the meeting agenda.
One of the primary items on the agenda involves discussions regarding the Paragonah section of the FCAOG Multijurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan Update. This discussion follows the town's ongoing efforts to coordinate with regional partners on safety and disaster preparedness.
Transportation and Annexation Planning
The commission is also slated to perform work on two significant policy frameworks: the Annexation Policy Update and the Paragonah Transportation Master Plan Update. These updates are part of the town's ongoing planning processes for managing growth and infrastructure.
Additionally, the meeting will include a coordination report from Town Board Member Marge Cipkar. The agenda also includes the approval of minutes from the meeting held on Sept. 30, 2026.
