A suspect has been taken into custody following a fatal hit-and-run incident in South Salt Lake, according to a September 12 report.
South Salt Lake Police told FOX 13 News that officers responded to reports of a person lying in the middle of the road near 3200 South 900 West on a Friday night.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers located an adult male lying in the road who was later pronounced dead.
Preliminary findings from the investigation indicated the man was involved in a hit-and-run accident.
