Utah ranks as the third happiest state in the nation according to a WalletHub study published September 16. The study ranked the happiness of all 50 states based on various metrics.
The report noted that residents in the Beehive State reported high levels of satisfaction regarding both life and work, alongside low depression rates. Hawaii was ranked as the top state for happiness, followed by New Jersey in second place.
Arkansas, Louisiana, and West Virginia were identified as the bottom three states for overall happiness.
