Park City drivers stopped at speeds well above limits - Park Record
Park City police officers in late August pulled over drivers for a variety of suspected traffic offenses, including cases the agency says involved speeds well above posted limits. The Police Department regularly conducts traffic patrols on entryways and in neighborhoods.

Park City-area trails closed for maintenance, fire mitigation in September
Run-A-Muk will be closed in Kimball Junction for trail resurfacing starting Sept. Mountain Trails Foundation Executive Director Lora Anthony says Kimball Junction’s Run-A-Muk trail will be closed weekdays starting Sept. Anthony also advised trail users the Point 2 Point bike race will bring hundreds of people to Park City’s trails from Round Valley to Park City Mountain Saturday.

Eastern Summit County residents can comment on general plan before vote
Amendments to the Eastern Summit County General Plan will be approved by the county council. The Eastern Summit County Planning Commission has spent the last six months reviewing amendments to the general plan. The commission will then vote on a recommendation to the county council, which has the final say.
