Located in the eastern foothills of the Jordanelle Reservoir, the Outlaw Golf Course provides a scenic 9-hole public golfing experience. The course offers players views of the mountains and the waters of the Jordanelle Reservoir from nearly every hole.
As an executive 9-hole course, it allows golfers to experience the challenge of a full 18-hole course in a more time-efficient package.
The course features par 3 holes ranging from 65 yards to 265 yards and a 465-yard par 4. Designed by William H. Neff, the greens include ridges and swales that provide a challenge for shot making.
Players can utilize different loop configurations, as many holes can be divided into four, six, or nine hole loops. The course features manicured fairways and bluegrass roughs. Strategic play is encouraged through pin placement and course management.
The design of the course incorporates environmental features, allowing storm water to be stored and dissipated into the ground to recharge the aquifer over time.
Hideout Canyon residences also benefit from views of the golf course.
