The Utah County Tourism Tax Advisory Board was scheduled to meet on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Pizzeria Seven Twelve in Orem, according to a July 31 statement.
The meeting agenda included the approval of April meeting minutes and a presentation regarding the 2025 Transient Room Tax and Tourism, Recreation, Cultural, Convention and Airport facilities Activity Report.
The meeting included several funding request reviews. Lee Adamson was scheduled to review a $1,500,000 request for the Utah Lake Commission Nature Center and a $610,000 request for Utah Lake Commission Public Safety Investment.
Other funding discussions included a $5,000,000 request for the Harrington Center Utah City Performing Arts & Cultural Center reviewed by Kurt Christensen. Jared Kearns was scheduled to review a $5,000 request for the Active Impact Benefit Stand for Freedom Community Flag Chain. Lee Adamson was also scheduled to review an $800 request for the Provo Autumn Jazz Festival.
Following the reviews, the board was scheduled to hold a funding recommendation discussion and vote before a roundtable discussion and adjournment.
