Willow Springs Elementary has released several announcements regarding school activities and personnel. In an undated notice on the district's site, the Beverly Taylor Sorenson Arts Integration School highlighted its core values of practicing safety, acting kindly, working hard, and showing respect.
The school announced that picture day was scheduled for Tuesday, September 8. Additionally, the school welcomed Aimee Wagner as the new principal for the 2026-27 school year. Principal Wagner transitioned to Willow Springs from Silver Mesa.
In previous announcements, the school hosted a Back to School Night on Friday, August 14, from 3:00-5:00 PM, which allowed families to meet teachers and staff. The school also held a first day of school celebration where students entered through a red carpet.
The school mentioned a Paws and Applause program held on Mondays to introduce faculty and staff, such as Principal Anne Hansen. The Canyons School District noted it is working toward making its website compliant with W3C Level Two ADA guidelines.
