Eagle Mountain City Proclaimed a Believer City

On Tuesday, July 7, 2026, the Eagle Mountain City Council approved a proclamation designating Eagle Mountain as a Believer City, recognizing the importance of fostering encouragement, connection, and hope throughout the community.
The designation is part of the Show Me A Sign initiative, a movement founded by Eagle Mountain resident, Ben Lyne. What began as one person running with a simple “I BELIEVE IN YOU” sign to encourage strangers has grown into a national effort focused on spreading hope and reminding people that they matter.
Through the Believer City designation, Eagle Mountain affirms its commitment to:
Promoting encouragement, connection, and hope throughout the community.
Exploring opportunities to make messages of belief visible in appropriate public spaces and community activities.
Supporting initiatives that inspire residents to encourage and uplift one another.
Encouraging civic engagement, volunteerism, and community pride through positive action and service.
Fostering a culture where every individual feels valued, supported, and capable of making a meaningful difference.
The proclamation encourages individuals to look for simple ways to support one another and contribute positively to the community.
