This addendum issued the 24th day of August 2026 is for all persons preparing bids for the
above named project, and as such, shall be made a part of the contract documents.
The addendum consists of this cover sheet, 1 page of comments, and a revised Bid
Schedule (5 pages). All changes, corrections, deletions, and/or additions to the initial bidding
documents enumerated herein shall be included in the bidders proposal. In case of any conflict,
this addendum shall govern.
Acknowledgment of receipt of this addendum shall be marked in the appropriate place
on the bid proposal form.
This addendum is to be attached to and is to become a part of the specification covering
the above noted projects, and the said specification is to apply insofar as consistent with the
items hereafter noted:

Conditions of the Contract:
ITEM 1: Contractors are to discard previous Bid Schedule and use the attached, revised Bid
Schedule with their bids.
ITEM 2: Bid Due Date has been moved to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 27, 2026. Any final
questions or approvals for alternates are required by end of business today (24
August 2026). A final addendum, is required, will be issued first thing tomorrow
morning (25 August 2026).

Specifications:
ITEM 4: Add dust protection system. Section 01 5616 - Contractor is to provide a dust and
debris contamination prevention system to protect exposed water basins from
construction waste and debris in both the Filter Gallery and the Actiflo buildings.
Contractors are to provide a TuffWrap - SmartSeam system or an approved equal.

Drawings and Scope of Work:
ITEM 5: Contractor is to include in their bid repairs to the ceiling in the Filter Gallery along
the length of the new storefront window system in the office area. Include
repainting the entire ceiling from wall to wall.
ITEM 6: Contractor is to include the refinishing of the interior walls behind the clerestory
window replacements in the Filter Gallery and Actiflo buildings. 5/8” water-
resistant gypsum board over 4 mil air barrier and paint the entire wall from corner
to corner.

The undersigned Bidder hereby proposes to furnish all plant machinery, labor, services,
materials, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation, utilities, and all other items and
facilities necessary to perform all work required under the Bidding Schedule of the
Owner's Contract Documents entitled “SERWTP Filter Gallery & Actiflo Building
Improvements” drawings and all addenda issued by said Owner prior to opening of the
bids.
Addenda, if issued, are only delivered by e-mail to those on Owner’s website
(jvwcd.gov) Plan Holders List.
The undersigned bidder acknowledges receipt of the following addenda:

Bidder agrees that, within 10 calendar days after receipt of Notice of Award from Owner,
he will execute the Agreement in the required form, of which the Notice Inviting Bids,
Instructions to Bidders, Bid, Information Required of Bidder, Technical Specifications,
Drawings, and all addenda issued by Owner prior to the opening of bids, are a part, and
will secure the required insurance and bonds and furnish the required insurance
certificates; and that upon failure to do so within said time, then the bid guarantee
furnished by Bidder shall be forfeited to Owner as liquidated damages for such failure;
provided, that if Bidder shall execute the Agreement, secure the required insurance and
bonds, and furnish the required insurance certificates within said time, his check, if
furnished, shall be returned to him within five days thereafter, and the bid bond, if
furnished, shall become void. It is further understood that this bid may not be withdrawn
for a period of 45 days after the date set for the opening thereof, unless otherwise required
by law.
