Fountain Green City conducted several official meetings and public hearings throughout 2026. These included sessions for the City Council and the Planning Commission held at Fountain Green City Hall located at 375 N. State.
The Fountain Green City Council held meetings on various dates, including January 22, February 19, March 19, April 16, May 12, June 18, and August 20, 2026. A special council meeting was also held on May 20, 2026. Additionally, the City Council and the Lamb Day Committee held a work meeting on June 3, 2026.
The Planning Commission held regularly scheduled meetings on the second Thursday of the month. Notable sessions included meetings on February 12, March 12, April 9, May 14, and July 9, 2026. A public hearing was held on July 23, 2026, to consider a simple lot subdivision at approximately 441 North 700 West (Big Springs Road).
The city issued several public notices and orders during the year. A Stage 2 Fire Restriction Order was issued due to dry vegetation conditions in Central Utah. The city also announced an intent to sell surplus real property located near 800 West, between Center Street and 100 North, with a minimum offer of $20,000. Furthermore, the Fountain Green Cemetery Bridge was under construction and closed from June 17, 2026, through August 12, 2026.
Community events and services were also noted, such as the Lamb Days Classic held at Fountain Green Park and a community dance presented by the Moroni Activities Center. The city also provided free community trainings for 72-hour kits and CPR/First Aid.
The Fountain Green City Council meetings were scheduled for the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m., unless notice was given otherwise. Planning and Zoning meetings were held the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. through December 2024.
