Mt. Loafer Elementary has released updates regarding upcoming school events and new staff members for the current school year. The school, located in Salem, is preparing for various activities including student picture day and spirit wear orders.
Students will have the opportunity to have their pictures taken on Wednesday, September 2. According to a notice on the school's website, photo packets can be purchased by returning the form sent home with payment.
The Mt. Loafer PTO is currently offering t-shirt and sweatshirt options for students to order spirit swag. Orders can be placed via a link or by scanning the QR code provided by the PTO.
Several new educators are joining the Mt. Loafer faculty this year. The school's staff includes Miss Muir and Mrs. Lewis on the first grade team, Miss Adrian on the second grade team, and Miss Calloway on the fourth grade team.
The Nebo School District is also promoting a Be That Friend theme for the new school year. Additionally, families can apply for free and reduced meals through the LINQ app.
