The Nibley City Recreation Flag Football league is a recreation-level program designed to offer an affordable developmental experience where participants learn basics in a non-competitive environment. Games often follow a scrimmage format with coaches assisting in officiating and teaching. For 5th through 12th grade games, coaches may receive assistance from a referee. The league motto is Play Smart, Play Safe, and Have Fun, and officials recommend wearing a mouthguard at every game and practice.
Games are subject to weather-related cancellations if rain or snow creates unsafe field conditions or threatens field integrity, as determined by the Nibley Parks Superintendent. Cancellations are typically announced by 4 p.m. on the day of the game. No games will be held during Fall Break from October 8 through October 10.
