Kansas football will play its first Big 12 Conference road game at Utah on Saturday, Oct. 10. According to the Big 12 Conference, the kickoff is slated for 9:15 p.m. on ESPN.
The week six matchup will take place at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah. This will be the sixth meeting between Kansas and Utah all-time. It marks the third time Kansas has played Utah in Salt Lake City, and the first time since 1996.
Utah holds a 3-2 advantage in the all-time series. Last season, Utah won their matchup in Lawrence with a score of 31-21.
The game against Utah will be Kansas' third night game of the season, following previous matchups against Long Island and Missouri. It will also serve as the Jayhawks' first game appearing on ESPN this season.
Prior to the Utah game, Kansas hosted Middle Tennessee for Family Weekend on Saturday, Oct. 3. The Jayhawks won that matchup 55-0. The team's previous games included a win against LIU on September 4 and losses to Missouri on September 11 and Arizona State on September 19.
Following the matchup in Salt Lake City, Kansas is scheduled to play at Kansas State on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 11 a.m. CT.
