Caftail party mixes Southern tradition with fundraising

Women ages 21 and older are invited to an end-of-summer caftail party on Wednesday at Le Depot Brasserie. Caftailing is a combination of caftans and cocktails, said Katie Zamarra, the event's organizer. It's a thing in the South. The event at Le Depot is also a fundraiser for Peace House, a tradition that started last year, according to Zamarra, who is also the restaurant's co-operator.
