The North Ogden City Council scheduled a meeting for September 8, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Public Safety Building, according to a September 3 report.
The meeting agenda includes a variety of items ranging from land annexation petitions to updates on city council rules and procedures.
One active agenda item involves the Altura Westside Investment Annexation Petition. The council will consider and act on an annexation petition involving approximately 208.96 acres and 16 parcels of undeveloped, unaddressed land located in the Ben Lomond foothills.
Additionally, the council is set to consider proposed amendments to Resolution 01-2024, which governs North Ogden City Council rules and procedures.
A discussion is also scheduled regarding a proposed general plan vesting process. This process could allow staff to approve qualifying land use applications administratively to increase efficiency and reduce rezoning requests.
Public members can attend the meeting in person or participate via a webinar or YouTube.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals requiring special accommodations can notify the City Recorder at 801-782-7211 at least 48 hours before the meeting.
The meeting agenda includes a consent agenda for conflict of interest disclosures and the approval of the August 25, 2026, meeting minutes.
Public comments are permitted, with participants asked to limit remarks to five minutes and ensure comments are pertinent to city business.
