Deer Valley Resort introduced new season pass options for the 2025-26 winter season. The announcement coincided with a significant expansion of the resort, which aimed to double its terrain by the next ski season through the addition of 10 new lifts and 100 new runs.
The new pass offerings included the Deer Valley Unlimited Pass, which provided unlimited skiing with no blackout dates, six First Tracks experiences, 12 discounted Friends & Family lift tickets, and a 15% discount on retail and dining. This pass was eligible for a $399 Ikon Pass add-on.
Other options introduced were the Deer Valley Select Pass, which offered seven-day-a-week access with peak blackout dates, and the new Deer Valley Midweek Pass, which allowed skiing Monday through Friday with peak blackout dates. Both the Select and Midweek passes included three First Tracks experiences, eight or six Friends & Family lift tickets respectively, and 15% off retail and dining. Both were also eligible for a $399 Ikon Pass add-on.
A new Deer Valley Utah Limited Pass was also created for Utah residents, offering Monday-through-Thursday skiing starting at $1,400 with peak blackout dates and requiring proof of residency.
Susie English, Deer Valley’s Vice President of Marketing, stated that the 2025-26 season marked a new era for the resort as it expanded the mountain while maintaining its ski-only experience. She noted the new options were designed to give guests flexibility based on their lifestyles.
For the 2025-26 season, the expanded resort was set to offer over 3,700 acres of ski terrain, 31 chairlifts, and approximately 200 ski runs.
Regarding Ikon Pass access, Deer Valley access for the 2025-26 season was available exclusively on the full Ikon Pass, offering up to seven days of skiing with no blackout dates, though reservations were required. Erik Forsell, Chief Marketing Officer of Alterra Mountain Company, stated that the spring sale of the Ikon Pass would offer the lowest prices of the year.
Deer Valley Resort, located in Park City, Utah, has been ranked by the World Ski Awards as the United States’ Best Ski Resort for 12 consecutive years. The resort maintains a reputation for luxury skiing and high-end service.
