Fireworks ban on school property
The restriction applies to properties including Lone Peak High School and American Fork Junior High. District communications urged residents to celebrate Independence Day and Pioneer Day responsibly to protect schools, neighborhoods, and surrounding open spaces from preventable fires.

At Lone Peak High School, students were also notified that they must finalize their schedules by June 19 due to a transition from the Skyward program to the new Skyward Qmlativ system. The school noted that class changes may be unavailable at the start of the upcoming school year.
