Weber State University is hosting a virtual Homecoming Recycle Run to celebrate Homecoming Week and promote sustainability. According to information from the university, the race will be held virtually, though group run and walk options will be available throughout the week.
Registration for the virtual race is scheduled for Oct. 10-18, 2026. Registration fees vary by participant type: WSU students can participate for free, while WSU alumni and faculty or staff pay $5. Community members can join for $10.
Participants who submit their results will receive a t-shirt and a medal made from materials from a previous event. The event will also include raffles for homecoming shirts and other prizes. A Run Club will be available during Homecoming Rec Night on Oct. 14 for those who prefer to run with others.
