The Washington City Planning Commission is scheduled to host a public electronic meeting on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. According to a notice posted to the city's website, the meeting will take place in the Council Chambers of Washington City Hall located at 111 North 100 East, Washington, Utah.
The meeting agenda includes the approval of minutes from August 19, 2026. Several public hearings are scheduled for consideration and recommendation to the City Council.
One hearing involves a General Plan Amendment, G-26-04, regarding land located approximately at 20 East and south of 2000 South, 20 East and Merrill Road, and 240 West and 3090 South. The applicant is Adams Family Farm/Mark Benson.
A second public hearing concerns Conditional Use Permit C-26-08 for a convenience store, gas station, and car wash located approximately at Washington Parkway and Buena Vista Blvd. The applicant is Meghan Chachra/Kimley-Horn.
A third public hearing is scheduled for Zone Change Z-26-18 to change 8.23 acres of undeveloped ground from the PUD-C zone to the PUD-R zone. This location is approximately 965 S 100 East, with Jared Bates/Rosenberg & Associates listed as the applicant.
Public comments may be submitted at washingtoncity.org/meetings until 5:00 p.m. the day before the meeting. After that time, only in-person comments will be accepted. The meeting will be broadcast via Youtube Live at https://washingtoncity.org/meetings.
