Real Salt Lake heads to St. Louis this Saturday to face St. Louis CITY SC at Energizer Park. The club is currently looking to snap a six-game winless streak on the road as it enters a demanding stretch of 11 games in 44 days across MLS and Leagues Cup competitions.
The upcoming match against St. Louis follows recent road losses at LAFC and Portland. Real Salt Lake currently holds an 8-6-2 record with 26 points, placing them 4th in the MLS Western Conference.
Saturday's match will be broadcast on Apple TV with Jonathan Yardley and Jalil Anibaba on the English-language call and Nacho Garcia providing Spanish-language analysis. The KSL Radio team of David James and Jay Nolly will provide coverage, while Nelson Moran will conduct the Spanish call on KBMG Latino 106.3 FM.
RSL arrives in St. Louis seeking its first road victory since March 7 in Atlanta. The club holds an all-time 3-1-2 record in six previous meetings against the 2023 expansion side.
In their most recent matches, RSL saw Lukas Engel score his first professional goal in a loss to LAFC, with an assist from debutant Saba Lobjanidze. In a subsequent match against Portland, Juan Manuel Sanabria scored his first goal for the club before a red card for Morgan Guilavogui in the 34th minute.
Following the trip to St. Louis, Real Salt Lake will host five home games between August 4 and August 19. This stretch includes three Liga MX contests as part of the Leagues Cup 2026.
Scheduled opponents for the Leagues Cup Phase One in Sandy, Utah, include Tigres UANL on August 4, Atlante CF on August 8, and FC Juarez on August 11. The Leagues Cup tournament features 36 clubs, including 18 from LIGA MX and 18 from MLS, with three spots awarded to the 2027 CONCACAF Champions Cup.
