The Millard County Commission will hold a public hearing on Oct. 6, 2026, to consider a petition to vacate several Class D county roads, according to a September 8 notice.
The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Millard County Commission Chambers located at 50 South Main Street in Fillmore, Utah.
The petition to vacate the roads was submitted to the Board of County Commissioners by applicant Bryan Harris and Notch Peak Project, LLC. The proposed road removals include portions of Millard County Road 639, 642, 643, 4089, and 4184, as well as the entirety of Millard County Roads 644, 645, 647, 648, 4153, 3989, and 4184.
All roads proposed for vacation are located within the proposed Notch Peak project site map and boundaries. Specifically, the roads are situated within Township 15 South, Range 8 West (T15S R8W), Sections 12-13; and T15S R7W, Sections 7-9 and Sections 17-18, Salt Lake Base and Meridian.
The meeting is being held pursuant to UCA 72-3-108(2)(a) to make a determination regarding the petition filed by Bryan Harris and Notch Peak Project, LLC.
