The Bear River City Planning Commission scheduled a public hearing for September 15, 2026, to discuss proposed amendments to the Land Management and Development Code, according to a September 4 notice.
The hearing is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Bear River City Civic Center, located at 5871 N 4700 W. The meeting is intended to receive comments regarding two specific clarifying amendments.
One proposed change would clarify that accessory buildings are not permitted within the required street side yard of a corner lot. The second proposed amendment seeks to remove the reference to using a driveway as a source to determine the rear yard of a corner lot.
