The Bear River City Council has scheduled a meeting for September 9, 2026, according to a September 3 statement. The meeting is set to begin at 7:00 PM at 5871 North 4700 West, Bear River City, UT 84301.
The agenda for the upcoming meeting includes the approval of minutes from August 12, 2026, a deputy report, and public comments. Council members will also discuss emergency management, the treasurer role and responsibilities, and detached accessory dwelling units and movable residential structures. Other topics include a letter of selection for emergency medical services, excavation permit exemptions within the state highway, and the BRAG regional hazard mitigation plan.
Additionally, the council will receive updates on online bill payment and an RV dumping station. The session will include a review of initial financial reports from January through June 2026, as well as the review and approval of bills. The council may vote to enter a closed session pursuant to Utah Code 52-4-5.
