The Town of Manila Planning and Zoning board held a regular meeting to address board appointments and building permit requests. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Dennis Andelin at 5:40pm.
Mayor Kathi Knight appointed Sara Mraz from the Town Council to the Planning and Zoning board, replacing William Rylander. During the meeting, the board reviewed and approved the minutes from the May 7, 2026, regular meeting.
The board discussed a building permit request from Gretchen Northcott for a lot located on 77 N Main Street. Brian Nelson noted that the shipping container must be at least 10 feet from the propane tank on the property. The board approved the building permit provided it follows the required setbacks from the propane tank.
The board scheduled its next regular meeting for August 6 at 6:00pm. The meeting adjourned at 5:48pm.
