Col. Eric Quidley assumed command of the 75th Air Base Wing during a traditional change of command ceremony held on July 12 at the Hill Aerospace Museum.
Airmen, families, community leaders, and mission partners gathered to witness the transition of leadership for the wing.
Quidley arrives at Hill with more than two decades of experience in logistics, sustainment, and installation support. His previous experience includes commanding the Mission Support Group at Holloman Air Force Base and holding a leadership role at the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex at Tinker Air Force Base.
During the ceremony, Quidley expressed excitement for the new assignment and noted that he has been closely observing the unit. He described the unit as a remarkable team that knows how to directly enable readiness, sustainment, and rapid response. He added that the team exemplifies what it means to be a true power projection platform and how to deliver integrated capabilities.
Quidley stated he looks forward to learning from the team and leveraging collective experience to generate readiness and ensure mission partner success.
The 75th Air Base Wing provides essential installation support to Hill Air Force Base, enabling fighter operations, nuclear sustainment activities, depot maintenance, and test range missions across more than one million acres. The wing supports more than 27,000 airmen, civilians, contractors, and family members.
