Eagle Mountain City is inviting residents to participate in several community events scheduled for the upcoming Independence Day holiday.
Declaration of Independence Reading
The celebrations begin on July 2 at 7:00 PM, when the Community Services Board will host a Reading of the Declaration of Independence. This event will take place at the large pavilion located at Cory B. Wride Memorial Park.
Farmers Market Evening Session
On Saturday, July 4, the city will host additional activities leading up to a fireworks show. The Eagle Mountain Farmers Market will operate at Cory B. Wride Memorial Park from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM on that day, in addition to its regular hours of 9 AM to 1 PM. This evening session will feature local vendors, food options, and a live DJ.
Kids Patriotic Parade Details
Later in the evening at 8:30 PM on July 4, families can participate in the Kids Patriotic Parade around the park. Children are encouraged to decorate wagons, bikes, scooters, or other non-motorized rides in a patriotic style.
Arrival and Fireworks Information
Residents are encouraged to arrive early for the festivities and stay for the fireworks show that will close out the evening.
