Nibley City Recreation has announced that registration for its adult coed indoor volleyball league was scheduled to close on September 3, according to a statement from the city.
The recreation level league is designed to help community members stay active and build connections through a fun, non-competitive environment.
The season was scheduled to run through October with games held on Tuesday evenings at 8:30 p.m. All matches will take place at Mountain Peak Volleyball located at 725 W 1940 S, Millville, UT 84321.
Participants can register as part of a team or as a free agent. Teams require a captain and up to two assistant captains. Free agents who register as individuals will be matched with a team before the season begins, or they may serve as substitutes. If a free agent cannot be placed on a team, a full refund is offered.
The league follows a 6v6 format where a minimum of four players is required to start a game. To manage gender ratios, a maximum of three male participants are permitted on the court at one time. The program also allows for the consideration of a limited number of mature youth aged 16 or older, provided they do not currently play in competitive or high school leagues.
The program is organized by Nibley City Recreation in collaboration with Mountain Peak Volleyball. While registration closed on September 3, an electronic waiting list is available online for those seeking available spots on a first-come, first-served basis.
