Tooele City Corporation issued an invitation to bid for the Peterson Industrial Depot Water Infrastructure Pothole Location Project, according to a August 26 statement. The project involves work to identify existing pavement thickness and conditions, as well as the size, type, condition, and depth of pipelines at approximately 20 cross pipe line locations, 25 tee pothole locations, and three single pipeline locations.
According to the notice, separate sealed bids must be received by the owner in Room 227 of the Tooele City Municipal Offices, located at 90 North Main, Tooele, Utah 84074. The deadline for submission is 1:30 PM on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, after which bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Electronic bid submittals will not be accepted, and a bid security of 5% of the base bid is required with each submission.
Prospective bidders were encouraged to attend a pre-bid conference scheduled for 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 3, 2026, in the Large Conference Room on the second floor of Tooele City Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to acquaint bidders with site conditions and specifications and to answer project-related questions.
Project bid documents are available in digital PDF format through the Tooele City Public Works Department. Bidders must receive the package directly from the City to be considered for the award. All communication regarding the project should be directed to Public Works Director Nathan Farrer prior to the bid opening.
