The Utah Transit Authority Ticket As Fare program enables attendees of specific pre-approved events to use their event tickets as proof of fare. This program covers a variety of transit options including regular bus, Express Bus, FrontRunner, S-Line, TRAX, and UTA On Demand, though it does not include Ski Bus or Paratransim services.
Riders must present either a printed or electronic ticket to show proof of fare, and the date on the event ticket must match the date of the UTA ride. Additionally, each passenger is required to have their own individual event ticket.
University of Utah sporting events held at Rice-Eccles Stadium, Jon M. Huntsman Center, or the University of Utah Campus are included in the program for all 2026 on-campus events. For these locations, riders can use the TRAX Red Line to reach either the Stadium Station or Fort Douglas Station.
Upcoming major stadium concerts include Post Malone and Jelly Roll on July 28 at Rice-Eccles Stadium, and Zach Bryan's With Heaven On Tour on August 7 at Rice-Eccles Stadium. Both events can be accessed via the TRAX Red Line to Stadium Station.
The Ogden Twilight Concert Series at the Ogden Amphitheatre includes several upcoming performances such as Of Monster and Men on July 30, Wet Leg on August 5, Sofi Tukker on August 22, Mt. Joy on August 25, Lane 8 on September 18, and Big Thief on October 7.

Passengers can reach the Gallivan Plaza Station using the TRAX Red, Blue, or Green Lines. For August concerts at Civic Center, riders may take the TRAX Red Line or UTA bus Route 4 or 4R.
LDS Church events at Temple Square are also eligible. Upcoming dates include the October General Conference on October 3-4, Luz de las Naciones on November 6-7, Bells Concert on November 20-21, and the Choir Christmas Concert from December 17-19. These locations are accessible via the TRAX Red or Blue Lines to Temple Square Station.
