Centennial Middle School announced a series of upcoming events and updates in a report published September 14. The announcements include scheduled parent-teacher conferences and a district parent resource night set for Wednesday, September 16.
Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for Wednesday, September 16, in the Centennial Middle School gyms. The open-house style event begins at 3:15 p.m. and must conclude by 6:15 p.m.
The same evening, the school will host a semi-annual District Parent Resource Night from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the CMS cafeteria. This event features representatives from the Utah Department of Health, UCASA, Intermountain Healthcare, and the Provo Police Department to provide information on mental health, substance abuse prevention, and suicide prevention.
A school safety drill involving Lockdown Protocol was scheduled for Monday, September 14. Additionally, the school's after-school program was scheduled to begin on Monday, September 14.
Spirit Week is scheduled for September 21 through September 25. The themed days include Pajama Day on Monday, September 21; Student/Teacher Swap Day on Tuesday, September 22; Match Day on Wednesday, September 23; Adam Sandler Day on Thursday, September 24; and School Spirit Day on Friday, September 25.
Other upcoming items include the 2026–27 Battle of the Books competition, scheduled for Wednesday, March 24, and the PTA Reflections Contest, which has a deadline of Tuesday, October 27.
