Meeting Logistics
Eureka City Council will hold a public hearing on: Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council chambers located at 15 North Church Street, Eureka, UT 84628.
Hearing Purpose
The purpose of the meeting is to accept public comments on: Funding procurement for the West Booster Staton Reconstruction from the Utah State Department of Drinking Water by Eureka City.
Public Comment and Presentation
Mayor Jenkins opened the public hearing and asked for public comment. No comments were made.
Dan Fechner with Jones & DeMill came up and gave a presentation on the planned repair of the booster pumps and chlorine room. A grant from DDW for $158,000 was approved. Mayor Jenkins stated our new water operator got the air in the water cleared up and replaced the clay valves, and one of the wells needs to be reprogrammed. Council Member Davis asked for clarification on the chlorine disbursement and where the line breaks off and goes to the tank. Dan explained the process and where it branches off to the tank.

Mayor Jenkins asked for the meeting to be closed

Council Member Maxfield made a motion to close the public hearing. Council Member Clements seconded the motion. All in favor the public hearing was closed.
