Governor Spencer Cox has appointed Hannah Freeze to serve as the Great Salt Lake commissioner.
Freeze succeeds Brian Steed in the role, according to an announcement from SALT LAKE CITY, Utah.
In commenting on the appointment, Cox stated that Freeze understands the necessity of cooperation from people across the basin to protect the Great Salt Lake.
Cox also noted that she has earned the trust of agricultural interests.
